This year he was celebrating his 16th year as a Flamingo and we’re so grateful he shared his huge talent and love with us all. There won’t be a day that we don’t work hard at keeping Tim’s legacy and larger-than-life personality in the forefront. We ask you to keep the entire Webber family in your thoughts during this extremely difficult time.”
Tim Webber former band PBM wrote;
We are heartbroken. We lost a PBM band brother today. It is with great sadness that we learned about the passing of our bandmate and former drummer, Tim Webber. Tim was larger than life. He was a monster behind the kit, skilled in any style, a perfectionist and a deeply creative mind. We loved playing with him because he challenged us to be better individually as musicians and performers, and to be a better band.
Tim lived and breathed music and performing, it was his passion. He was one of the funniest people we’ve ever know and his laugh was infectious.
When you travel the country playing music together, you become family. You go through a lot together. You experience things many people don’t typically experience, both good and bad. You fight with, and for each other. Just like family. You love each other. The struggles bring out the love even more.
“No matter the time that passed since we last shared the stage, no matter the distance, when we would run in to Tim, it was like old times, and all those great memories and stories would come flooding right back. And of course that infectious smile and laugh., The world indeed has lost an amazingly talented musican and performer and a genuinely loving guy who brightened up any room and live to entertain. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to his family. Matt, Mike, Bob and Nancy, and to his current bandmates in Killer Flamingos who are no doubt devastated and in mourning. Until we meet again brother, and can jam once more on that much bigger and grander stage.”
“The Detroit Music scene lost an incredible talent. My heart and prayers go out to all of his friends and family.,” a fan of Timothy wrote.
