Susan Giovanniello Death – The Glen Cove EMS are mourning the sudden passing of one of their beloved officer and staff. Emergency Medical Technician Susan Giovanniello was announced dead on Monday morning, the 3rd of April 2023. She died at the young age of 19. EMT Susan Giovanniello suffered a medical emergency following a duty crew tour on Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Who was Susan Giovanniello?
Susan Angela Giovanniello was born on August 28, 2003, in Glen Cove, New. Everyone in the room could attest to the fact that she had the most radiant smile on the regular. When Susan’s friends were having a rough time, or even if she just wanted to make them happy, she would always offer to hold their hand.
She worked with Glen Cove EMS as an emergency medical technician for more than a year. She was an EMS explorer for several years at the Glen Cove Emergency Medical Services station before becoming an EMT. Susan always had a smile on her face in genetics and organic chemistry no matter how painful the classes were. She was a great joy to be around. Susan served as the explorers’ secretary throughout the journey.
She was an outstanding example to follow, a friend, and a colleague at work. She will forever be missed and never be forgotten. Beloved daughter of Lou and Julie. Loving sister of Jessica and Michael. Special granddaughter of Anna Giovanniello and Vincenzo Viselli. Dear niece of Lena, Emilio, Joanne and Umberto. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Wednesday, 3:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Ceremony at St. Rocco RC Church on Thursday at 10:00 am. Entombment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
