Ronnie Ortiz Death – TNL, WSL, No Pro, MSSL, S3 softballer stalwart Ronnie Ortiz, Jr. #21 has passed away. Ronnie Ortiz died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. John Dobkowski said Ronnie Ortiz Jr. was a perfect human being, star player, and amazing teammate. Ronnie was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

WORD Basketball issued a statement regarding the “unexpected passing” of the talented basketball and softball player Ronnie Ortiz. They wrote, “Yesterday morning we tragically lost a beautiful soul and word Bball family member, Ronnie Ortiz from the red team. The league and neighborhood will miss you forever. Sending love, thoughts, and prayers to his family, friends, teammates, neighbors, Blaire, and Jaylen.”

While announcing the death of Ronnie Ortiz Jr, Craig Odonnell said he can’t believe that Ronnie has passed away. Craig also said someone he calls his friend, played ball together in Milton park, Ronnie Ortiz is gone too soon. “Gonna miss playing ball with you making half-court shots gonna miss u Brodieeeee prayers goes out to your family,” he added. Ronnie was described as a man of joy faith love and compassion for others.

Ronnie was all about having fun and being talented at softball. He was a young man who possessed a great deal of respect, politeness, sensitivity, talent, and humility. He never displayed either arrogance or negativity, even though he had superior talents. He was nothing but kind and encouraging to other players, including those who might not have had as much talent or skill as he did, just as he was to those who might have played at a high level.

Ronnie was a bright star who lit up the world of softball in the New York City area. Anyone who had the opportunity to be in his presence, whether it be to watch him play, to compete with or against him, or simply to talk about the game, can count themselves fortunate to have had that time with him and to have had some of his stardust sprinkled onto them during his travels through the softball universe.
