Lee Hawco Death – Flatrock hockey team together with family members and friends mourn the death of Lee Hawco. He was a dedicated and committed member of the Flatrock hockey team. He passed away after battling health related issues, the illness that resulted in his death is yet to be released to the public by the family member’s who still mourn his death. Bevey Hawco while announcing the death of Flatrock hockey player, Lee Hawco posted that “I would like to send condolences out to my aunt Bun & uncle Leo, Tony,Billy ,Joanne & families as well as Wanda ,children and families. My thoughts and prayers are with you all . Rest in peace Lee.” St. John’s, which is located in Newfoundland and Labrador, had a senior hockey club known as the Flatrock Flyers.
From 1992 through 2004, the club competed in the Avalon East Senior Hockey League as a member of the league. In 1993, 1997, 1998, and 2003, the squad was awarded the Herder Memorial Trophy as the champion. In the years 1992, 1995, 1996, 2001, and 2003, the squad finished in second place.
