Dan Bouquillon Death – Dan Bouquillon, Maybelline’s dad has passed away suddenly. Dan Bouquillon also known to many as Daniel Greyson Bouquillon was announced dead on May 20th, 2023. He died at his home on Kensington Street in Northampton, Massachusetts. For those who knew him well, he will always be remembered as someone who loved nature, had a good laugh, and was always up for an adventure. He was loved deeply by his family and friends.
So far, no official news on his cause of death has been released.
Who was Dan Bouquillon?
Dan was born on July 30th, 1987. He attended NorthStar Self-Directed Learning Center as a teenager while still attending Holyoke Community College. Dan was on the Lighthouse School’s inaugural board of directors. He finished his associate’s degree about the same time as many of his buddies graduated from high school. He earned a BA from Guilford College in 2009 and a degree in Sustainable Development and Leadership from UMass-Dartmouth.
Dan has a profession that tried to serve the environment in novel ways through innovative technology, procedures, and educational approaches. Dan’s time at NorthStar provided him with insights into the need for accessible alternative education pathways for young people, as seen by his work with Lighthouse School and his continued service on the NorthStar board. This scholarship honours Dan’s memory.

This GoFundMe page was created by Edward Bouquillon, a resident of Fairlee, Vermont to help the family pay for funeral costs and other expenses at this difficult time. The fundraiser page “Dan Bouquillon Memorial Scholarship” has raised $5,462 USD out of a $25,000 goal. Graham Immerman was the most generous donor, donating $1,000. “These funds will provide financial assistance to students seeking enrollment at Lighthouse School in Holyoke MA and NorthStar in Sunderland MA.”

Please join us on Thursday, June 8th at 11:00 am at the Mary Lyon Church in Buckland MA for a service in Remembrance of Daniel Bouquillon’s life. After the service, a green burial at Trow Cemetery across the street will be held. We invite all who knew and loved Daniel to a reception at Shelburne Springs, 904 Mohawk Trail, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370 from 12:30 pm -4:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Rooms are available at Shelburne Springs for those travelling a distance.
