Aaron Orozco Death – The victim was discovered dead outside the store in the 2800 block of Imperial Highway at around 1:30 in the morning. Before the shooting, the driver and two passengers looked to be engaged in a struggle, according to the deputies. Early on Friday morning, passengers in an Uber vehicle who had just shot and killed a married man with two young children in a Lynwood 7-Eleven parking lot. According to deputies, the driver picked up the two men and took them to the 7-Eleven. At that point, he was shot, suffering upper body bullet wounds, according to Lt. Michael Modica of the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

A neighbor has offered security camera footage that shows at least two gunshots. The Uber driver’s car, which was discovered in a nearby neighborhood, was used by the attackers to flee. There were no recorded arrests. The assailants’ full identities were not immediately known. The Marine who attended Lynwood High School in 2002, 38-year-old Aaron Orozco, was recognized by Sandra Medina when she arrived at the scene on Friday morning. She stated he started working as an Uber driver around four years ago. Medina remarked, “He was an awesome father,” He was a wonderful, upbeat person.

Everyone in his vicinity enjoyed being around him. He’s basically a happy, upbeat individual who makes a fantastic father and family man. They chatted last on Thursday night, according to Medina, around 10 p.m. She learned that he had passed away four hours later. The couple’s children are a 3-year-old girl and a 9-year-old son. Orozco served in Iraq while stationed at Camp Pendleton, which is north of San Diego, from 2001 to 2005, according to family relatives.

Uber said in a statement that it was helping the authorities with their investigation. While Mr. Orozcofigueroa’s family deals with this unimaginable tragedy, Uber said in a statement, “Our hearts are with Mr. Orozco Figueroa’s family as they cope with this unfathomable tragedy, and we are reaching out to offer our condolences,” “We banned the rider’s account and are working with police on their investigation.” Calling the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 is the best way to get information about the shooting.
