According to a mail received by Microsoft company, 26-year-old Zain Nadella, the son of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and his wife Anu, was born with cerebral palsy and died. Report says the 26-year-old died early Monday morning, and the news was communicated to the company’s top executives through email.
Since taking over as CEO in 2014, Nadella has focused the company on producing technologies that better serve customers with disabilities, citing lessons he learned while raising and supporting Zain.
The Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences, which is part of the Seattle Children’s Center for Integrative Brain Research, was established with the help of the Nadellas last year.
