He died on Thursday 28th September 2023 after a tragic car accident leaving his loved ones heartbroken. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “I think for once I may be at a loss for words. This past Thursday, September 28th we lost our beloved Zack in a car accident. I’m going to miss you so much Zack and I’ll love you forever”.

The total amount that has been raised so far through the campaign is $3,195, with the largest donation being $300. The goal of the fundraiser was set to raise the sum of 10,000, so far 31 donations have been made to the account.
A statement from the fundraiser reads “There are So many things you could say about Zack, that I don’t even know where to begin . He was my best friend and a brother to me. He always believed in being his authentic self and wanted to be accepted for being exactly the way he was . He struggled with mental health and had very low days but it was so worth riding out to be with him on his good days”.
