I have been debating making this post for multiple reasons but the main one is because once I do it all seems too real. Friday I lost one of my closest friends I’ve ever had. Words can’t really describe the feelings I’m having. Its like the wind has been taken out of me and not being able to get it back. Zachary Calvin Clowes was such a bright person. He had the canning ability to light up the room the second he walked in. One of my favorite things about him was his sense of humor. There was NEVER a dull moment with him. He always could make friends with anyone he came into contact with. He showed me so much over the 13 years of our friendship but the most important one is how to be a true friend through thick and thin. I didn’t just lose a best friend, I lost a brother that I loved dearly. He will forever be with me everywhere I go and there won’t be a day that I don’t think about him. Your in very capable hands now Zach! I love you and you will be dearly missed my friend.
Every time I make a post like this it hurts more each time. But Zachary Calvin Clowes .. This friend ship goes back to elementary school and I remember we did not get along at first 😂. But after that you were one of my bestfriends for years. All the memories we made growing up between Harrison Elementary – Craig High school and after. Our friend group was like the brothers I never had. I am beyond thankful for the memories I have with you and will cherish forever. There are so many but here’s a few. I will never forget killing it with you in JYF, All the nights we would sneak out with the crew, the party’s, the chill nights sitting around the fire, and all the time we spent outside and on the trampoline wrestling and having fun. I know we lost touch a little bit after school, but this feels like I lost a brother. I’m still in shock and this one hits so close to home and I really don’t have the words. But you will FOREVER be in my heart and pretty much the whole city of Janesville. You were beyond talented at any sport, music, and even your personality was 1 of a kind. I have a ton of pictures but this is a huge throwback pic with just a small group of the guys I’ll always have love for. I pray for your whole family man. 💙
WE ALL HAVE SOO MUCH LOVE FOR YOU MAN. REST IN PEACE BROTHER 🪦💙 💙💙 Made such an impact in my life growing up
Sending all my love to family and friends of Zachary Calvin Clowes. An entire community forever blessed by his kindness, love, and creativity. We truly lost one of the best guys I’ve ever known.
I will forever remember you like this: smiling. With an uncanny ability to make others giggle & laugh, you also had the best shoulder when tears needed to be shed. Truly blessed to have called you one of my best friends in my formative years.
I’ll look for you in sunny days & sick guitar rifts. Until we meet again, buddy
My heart hurts hearing about about Zach yesterday. Such a sweet, kind and talented soul who everyone loved. He had such lame jokes sometimes but they always made you laugh anyway. You will be so so missed by all of us. Love you dude Zachary Calvin Clowes
