In a stunning blow for Vladimir Putin’s army, Ukrainian troops murdered a Russian commander during their invasion of their neighbors. Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Agarkov and paratrooper colonel Konstantin Zizevsky died, according to Mikhail Vedernikov, the Pskov Region governor’s instagram page.
Mikhail Vedernikov claimed the “paratrooper officers were slain” while “honorably fulfilling their job, valiantly defending our country’s security.” Before the 56th ODSHB went to Crimea, Agarkov was the unit’s chief of staff at Kamyshin. He was commanding the 33rd motorised rifle regiment during a “special operation” in Ukraine.
Zizevsky was killed in action in Ukraine’s south. Devastating General Vitaly Gerasimov was killed on Tuesday, a major setback to the Russian campaign. Ukrainian commandos believe the general was slain near Kharkiv.

Gerasimov, the 41st army’s first deputy commander, joins Major General Andrei Sukhovetsky, who was killed by a sniper. Leaked claims claim Putin’s military officers have been killed in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In all, Ukraine claims to have killed 12,000 Russian forces.
Putin had earlier acknowledged Sukhovetsky’s death during a speech.
