On Thursday, a woman was killed in an incident involving an overturned car on I-471 in northern Kentucky. The driver of the car, a 37-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased at the site.
Officers say around 4 a.m., an automobile slipped on the ice overpass before losing control and colliding with a concrete barrier. The car then rolled over onto its top, riding along the guardrail.

The motorist, a 40-year-old man, was detained at the site and refused to be taken to the hospital. During the investigation, the freeway was closed for about an hour. The SIRT Team is still investigating the accident.
