Officials have identified the teen who was found shot dead at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park on Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022, as Wilson Mugisha. The 18-year-old reportedly died from injuries acquired from a gunshot wound in the state park’s parking lot.
Officers discovered the teen’s body in the parking area when they arrived in the park at about 7 a.m. Wednesday.
There is no information on the suspects, and it was not said the time the shooting took place apparently he was shot on Tuesday night. The Homicide Unit of the LMPD is still looking into the case.
