William John Ruggiero Death – The father of Taunton, Massachusetts journalist and GLAAD Media Award winner Ryan Ruggiero has passed away. William John Ruggiero died following a brief illness. Ryan Ruggiero announced the tragic death of his beloved father who was also a well-respected teacher at Boston Public Schools, Taunton Catholic Middle School, and Coyle and Cassidy High School. “It is with heavy hearts that I announce the sudden passing of my amazing father, William John Ruggiero. My father was surrounded by my entire family when God called him home and became my guardian angel.”
According to reports, Ryan Ruggiero father William John Ruggiero passed away from Sepsis complication after he suffered a septic shock, a failed kidneys among many other things. According to Ryan, his father was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. “As many people know, my father was a man of unwavering faith, a loving father, a supportive uncle, and a proud granddaddy. His life was a testament to love, acceptance, and the enduring bond of family.”
William John Ruggiero was a great coach at the high school varsity football, he was a talented chef and manager at the Ruggiero’s owned restaurant called “Gondola.” According to Ryan, his father practiced his deep faith in God by living a fulfilled life. “His devotion to spirituality was evident in the way he lived his life, embracing all with open arms. He instilled in his family the importance of gratitude, even insisting on saying grace before meals, whether at home or in a restaurant and always making the sign of the cross when he went by a church.”
William John Ruggiero was a Veteran, a talented chef, a dedicated restaurant manager at the beloved family restaurant, the Gondola, an inspiring teacher in the Boston Public Schools, Taunton Catholic Middle School, and Coyle and Cassidy High School. He was the coach of multiple championship teams. His leadership extended to his role as Principal of St. Mary’s, where he left an incredible mark, starting the tradition of the Windows of St Mary’s with special messages in the windows for the many that would pass by the school.
