San Juan Hills High School Lockdown Investigations – A person has been taken into custody following an incident at San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano, California Thursday. According to reports, law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the San Juan Hills High School located on 29211 Stallion Ridge, San Juan Capistrano following a report of a person with arms. According to reports, after investigations, an individual was taken into custody from the scene. The school campus was placed on a hard lockdown as precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the pupils.

A preliminary hearing for Juan Laws, who is charged with capital murder in connection with the shooting death of Huntsville Police Department officer Garrett Crumby, has been scheduled for the 20th of April by a court in Madison County. Crumby was shot and murdered on March 28 after responding to a report of shots fired at an apartment complex located on Governors House Drive. During the same event, a second officer from the HPD, Albert Morin, sustained serious injuries. According to a representative for the Houston Police Department, Saturday Morin is making progress in his recovery from his injuries and has been moved from the intensive care unit to a private room.
Laws, who is only 24, has not been charged in connection with the shooting of Morin; nevertheless, the investigation being conducted by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is likely to result in more charges. The specifics of the occurrence have not been made available to the general public. The preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place on April 20 at 1:30 p.m., in front of District Judge Linda Coats of Madison County.
***Arrest made in Tuesday’s Blue Haven Drive shooting***
Following a gunshot that occurred Tuesday on Blue Haven Drive in Huntsville, a man has been arrested and the victim has been identified. According to Huntsville Police Department officials, 47-year-old Jason Moore has been apprehended and charged with murder. Tuesday at approximately 4:30 p.m., Huntsville Police Department officers responded to the 4800 block of Blue Haven Drive. Officers found Damian Collins Sr., age 40, suffering from gunfire wounds when they arrived at the scene.
At the site, Collins Sr. was pronounced dead. The Major Crimes Unit of the HPD believes that the shooting was precipitated by a verbal altercation between the two males. Moore is currently being booked into the Madison County Jail on an allegation of murder.
