Waneta Kay Graham Death – Family and friends mourn after Waneta Kay Graham, affectionately known as Kay by her friends and family, passed away on April 25, 2023. She entered this world on the 5th of August, 1955, in Clinton, Indiana. Kay’s 67 years were largely spent cultivating relationships, joy, and selflessness. She completed her high school studies at West Vigo and graduated in 1973. She became a certified medical transcriptionist after studying at IVY Tech.

Her tenure at the Brazilian Kroger spanned more than 26 years. She made the most of her spare time by reading, being of service to others, going on long walks, and most importantly, spending time with the people she cared about the most. She cherished the time she spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Those who were fortunate enough to know her were able to continually sense the presence of her kind and nurturing nature.
There was never a dull moment in her house because she had a natural capacity to put people at ease, people were always laughing and having interesting conversations. Her first husband Leonard Fields, their son Brian Fields, her parents Jack and Waneta (Keller) Webb, all passed away before she did. Lennie Fields (Byeoni), Angie Dwyer (Andy), Chris Olney (Craig), and Sherry Bowles (Keith) survive her, as do her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives: Austin Fields (Katey), Lacey Fields, Logan Fields, Tamesha Al Badri, Sarah Richards, Christina Richards, Kameron Fields, Steven Dwyer, Ma
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, friends and family are invited to a memorial service at the Lawson – Miller Chapel, located at 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, Indiana 47834. The ceremony will start at 5 o’clock. At a later time, we will have a burial service at Oak Hill Cemetery.
