Wakefield Ma Car Accident – On Tuesday, 5th of July 2022, at about 2:40 p.m., four people suffered serious injuries after an accident that happened in the area of 131 Vernon St. According to the police Chief Steven Skory and Fire Chief Michael Sullivan. The Wakefield officials said the accident was involving a single car that crashed into a tree in the Massachusetts town.
When authorities got to the scene, two of the four people inside the car were trapped in the vehicle. Reports state the firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to free those trapped occupants. Skory and Sullivan said two people were taken to an area hospital by ambulance, one person was transported to a Boston hospital by ambulance and the final person was rushed to a Boston hospital by medical helicopter.

The extent of the victims’ injuries is not clear at this moment. According to NBCBoston news, Images from the scene showed a mangled blue Toyota Corolla with its roof taken off by the side of the road, and tire marks on the ground showed where the car drove onto the sidewalk and continued straight into the tree.
Neighbors came out of their homes upon hearing the collision. The crash is being investigated by Wakefield police and members of the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
