Vivian Byrd Death – The Echo Theater Company in PDX, situated at 1515 SE 37th Ave, Portland, OR 97214, United States, is currently grieving the passing of their dear friend, Vivian Byrd. Vivian had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it and her friends loved that about her. She was announced dead on Friday, the 2nd of June 2023. Vivian died just a few days after her 21st birthday, in New Haven, Connecticut. No cause of death was reported.
Echo Theater Company PDX released a statement regarding the passing of Vivian Byrd:
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Vivian Byrd. Vivian was a fierce, strong, beautiful and talented person. She died on June 2nd, just a few days after her 21st birthday, in New Haven, Connecticut. Vivian began taking classes at Echo in 2009 as a five-year-old and went on to join Tik Toks (2013-14) and Zig Zags (2014-17). She is deeply missed by those of us that knew, studied, played and created alongside her.”
Echo Theater will open at 7 pm on Wednesday, June 21st, for people to gather, tell stories, watch footage and grieve together. You are invited to bring a memory to share, a photograph, a fierce hug, or just your quiet presence. There will also be opportunities to move our bodies, hug, and swing from the ceiling, as these were some of Vivian’s favourite things to do at Echo. All are welcome.
Who was Vivian Byrd?
Vivian embodied the qualities of being determined, resilient, stunning, and gifted. She enrolled in Echo’s classes when she was just five years old in 2009 and proceeded to become a part of Tik Toks (2013-14) and Zig Zags (2014-17). Her demeanour reflected a remarkable character that was gentle, patient, and amiable.
Her warmth had a healing effect on people, and her acts of kindness touched the hearts of many. Vivian was an exemplary individual who inspired everyone around her. In summary, Vivian was a fantastic human being who encapsulated all the right things.
