Lombard Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies in Lombard, IL are investigating multiple reports of an active shooter at the Lombard Spring Fever Carnival Friday night. According to reports, a heavy police presence is currently at the Altitude Trampoline Park – Lombard located at 481 E Roosevelt Rd, Lombard, IL following a report of a shooter firing directly into the crowd after an altercation. At least two dozen law enforcement officers are on the scene at this time. Multiple stampedes have been reported as people on the scene attempt to flee the scene following the shots fired.

Officers arriving at the scene are working to clear the scene., At the time of this publication, investigating law enforcement agencies did not confirm the shots fired reports or a possible victim. In a shooting that happened in North Brunswick Township on Friday night, one person died. Police were called to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Hawthorne Road at 9:00 p.m. When the police arrived, they discovered an unidentified victim there with gunshot wounds. Shortly after, the person was pronounced dead. There have been no reported arrests, and the inquiry is being conducted by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office is looking into a shooting incident that resulted in a man’s death in Trenton on Friday. Around 9:30 p.m., police were sent to the vicinity of 334 Rutherford Street after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers who arrived on the scene discovered a man with a gunshot wound to his chest and taped off the area. The injured man received CPR from emergency personnel, but a short while later, doctors declared him dead. At this point, no motive for the shooting has been identified.
