Victor Sykes Crime – According to the Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker, a second suspect has been convicted in connection with the fatal shootings that took place in November 2019 in the 4500 block of South Benton in Kansas City. These gunshots resulted in the deaths of three people. They quickly became aware of a woman who was present in the region. She appeared to have a rifle in her hands. Also, they noticed a male wandering in the vicinity of 45th Street and South Benton Avenue. After getting into a black vehicle, the woman tried to flee, but she was swiftly put into prison.

Information in details

Lynnsey Jones was revealed to be the woman in question. It was discovered that the vehicle contained a handgun. A second officer joined the pursuit of the suspect, who was ultimately determined to be Victor Sykes. After giving chase on foot, he was eventually put into prison. The male victim, who was probably already dead when the police found him, was located in the roadway. Casings from a rifle were found nearby where the victim was found. A door to the foyer of a house was left slightly ajar. The police discovered another victim lying on the ground. A third dead body, also the result of a gunshot wound, was discovered inside the property.

Jones allegedly told the police that she went to the address in order to purchase narcotics there. After she went inside and smoked marijuana with two unknown women, she told police, she went back outside and found two men arguing. Jones stated that the males have firearms. She also acknowledged to shooting at all three victims, whose ages were subsequently determined to be 42-year-old Brandy Jones, 44-year-old Larry T. Barnes, and 46-year-old Larona T. Jones. A jury in Jackson County found co-defendant Lynnsey D. Jones guilty on the same counts as the defendant in this case, and the court has already handed down her sentence: she will spend the rest of her life in prison. On April 4th, Sykes will be given his sentence.
