Tyree Lamar Hairston Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a shooting in the Little Philadelphia neighborhood.
According to yourdailyjournal.com, Tyree Lamar Hairston, 28, of Rockingham, died on Monday as a result of a suspected gunshot wound. At 11:15 a.m., a shooting occurred near the intersection of Patterson Road and US 1 North.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and the Rockingham Police Department are continuing their investigation.
Following the shooting, Richmond Senior High School and Washington Street Elementary School were placed on lockdown as a precaution. At neither school, there was no immediate danger.
A shelter-in-place situation requires kids to remain inside the facility while the school day continues.
