Tyler Todd Hilligoss, 36, of Windsor, IL, died March 6, 2022. Tyler Hilligoss was born in Effingham on March 9, 1985. He graduated from Windsor High School in 2003 and played basketball. Tyler went on to Eastern Illinois University and got his dream job as Marketing Manager/Director at Lithia Springs Marina.
Tyler had no strangers. He could make anyone feel welcome. Sell ketchup popsicles to a lady in white gloves. He was kind, funny, and the life of the party.
Tyler loved the outdoors, sitting by a campfire, watching the sunset, cooking, spoiling his niece “Georgia Peach” and nephew Gibson, and was a big dog lover. Those who knew him will miss him profoundly.
His family includes his father, Floyd Hilligoss, sister Katie (Chris) Harley, niece Georgia, nephew Gibson, and dog Bane. His mother, Bobbie Hilligoss, died on November 6, 2019.
Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor. Private family burial in Windsor’s Cochran’s Grove Cemetery. No flowers please.
