Law enforcement agencies has identified the male who died following the shooting incident at My Kidzplay in Alspi, IL. According to Cook Couunty Medical Examiner, Trevale Robinson, of Joliet died from multiple gunshot injuries at the scene of the incident. Arriving EMS pronounced him dead.
Alsip Shooting Investigations – Police in Alsip, IL. are investigating a shooting incident at My Kidzplay – a playground venue for children – According to reports, a person has been pronounced dead at the scene which is located in the area of 4845 W 111th St, Alsip. Officers were called to the location following a report of an active shooter. Multiple officers responded to the scene where they say children were seen running around scared and crying, while parents run around attempting to locate their children and flee to safety.
According to reports, an adult male was shot and killed at the My Kidzplay prompting a heavy police presence in the vicinity. Law enforcement agencies did not immediately disclose if the deceased male came to the venue with a child. The shooter fled the scene after the deadly incident. At the time of this publication, officials have not disclosed the identity of the victim or the suspect involved.
UPDATE: Joliet man died after targeted shooting in parking lot of children’s indoor playground
Police in Alsip say that a man was attacked and shot in the parking lot of an indoor playground for kids on Saturday night. The man died. The department says that around 5:30 p.m., they got a call about shooting at the My Kidzplay in the 4800 block of 111th Street. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said the victim was 24-year-old Trevale Robinson from Joliet. When police arrived, they found him with multiple gunshot wounds. Robinson was taken to the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was later declared dead.
Authorities said that a group of unknown criminals drove east on 111th Street in two different cars, one of which was a silver BMW and the other a Jeep Compass.
