A tragic automobile crash in an Ennis residential neighborhood claimed the life of a young child on Wednesday afternoon. Gardaí were still attending to the Quin Road incident location in Ennis when this was written.The child was sadly pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, even though he was taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The Gardaí have appointed a family liaison officer to aid the family. An official from An Garda Síochana stated that authorities were reacting to a fatal traffic accident in a residential neighborhood on Quin Road in Ennis, County Clare, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, shortly before 12:30 pm.
A baby boy was transported to University Hospital Limerick following the incident. The severity of his injuries has now been confirmed as being lethal. A family liaison officer has been designated to provide support to the family at this time. At this very moment, forensic accident investigators are preserving the site for future analysis.
