MrBeast, the most popular “YouTuber” in the world, recently responded angrily to comments made by people of the internet about his close buddy and content partner, who recently stated that they were receiving hormone replacement therapy. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, posted a video in reaction to a video created by another YouTuber that discussed the controversy surrounding the content creator’s biological male buddy transitioning into a trans.
Who is Jimmy Donaldson AKA MrBeast?
MrBeast is the stage name of Jimmy Donaldson, an American YouTuber and philanthropist born on May 7, 1998. He is credited for creating a whole subgenre of YouTube films that focus on pricey stunts. His primary YouTube channel, which had more than 130 million members as of January 2023, is the fourth-highest subscribed on the site, and some consider him to be the most popular channel whose owner is an individual. In the video, the YouTuber claimed that the increasing “transphobia” directed toward his friend was “starting to piss me off.”
Chris Tyson, a friend and collaborator of Donaldson’s, came under increasing scrutiny after he revealed earlier this month that he had begun receiving hormone replacement medication for his condition. Since Tyson completed his transition, he has been the subject of a great deal of scrutiny and criticism in the weeks that have followed.

However, in response to a video in which Tyson is questioned and it is asserted that his identification will pose a threat to MrBeast’s large YouTube channel, Donaldson issued a severe rebuke. Donaldson noticed the message, and in a furious response, he labeled his friend’s critique as “transphobia” and stated that it was beginning to irritate him. The most recent time Donaldson was involved in a social media scandal was in December of last year, when he was criticized for a video he made representing himself paying for the cataract surgery of one thousand different people.
A number of viewers voiced their opinion that the video was nothing more than a cynical gimmick that was produced for the sole purpose of gaining clicks. In other comments, the YouTube creator stated, “The hurdles gnc [gender-nonconforming] people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a first world country is wild to me.”
