Todd Miles Death – The officials have identified the Smithfield man that died after two-vehicle crash near Logan-Cache Airport in Utah. The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2023 close to the Logan-Cache Airport. The collision took place around 12:17 local time in the area of 900 West Airport Road. According to Lieutenant Brett Randall of the Logan City Police Department, Todd G. Miles passed away as a result of the collision between two vehicles.

Todd Miles was 60 years old and from Smithfield, he was pronounced dead at the scene after the attempts of law enforcement and medical personnel to save his life were futile. The officers have reported Miles was traveling in an easterly direction on Airport Road in a Buick sedan. The vehicle began to veer off the roadway close to 900 West, and the driver overcorrected, sending it careening into oncoming traffic, where it was rear-ended by a Chevrolet pickup truck.
According to the authorities who arrived at the scene of the deadly collision involving two vehicles, Randall said that Miles was not wearing a safety belt while he was seated in his vehicle. Because they were wearing their seatbelts, the driver of the pickup truck only sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Officers were the first individuals to arrive at the scene of the collision, and they began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Miles as soon as they got there. A short time later, emergency medical technicians came and immediately began conducting cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the patient. According to the information provided by Randall, the police do not have any grounds to suspect that impairment played a role in the accident.
They are not completely sure what caused Miles to veer off the road in the first place; however, they do know that there was something. After Miles’s loss, the Logan City Police Department sent their sympathies to his family by sending them a letter. In addition, they expressed their gratitude to the Smithfield City Police Department as well as the Cache County Victim Services for their assistance during the investigation.
