Tiffeny Nichole Jones, a beloved mother of two passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 9, 2023 following an undisclosed incident. According to the family, the 7-year Rootstown, Ohio resident died tragically leaving her children and husband devastated. “Tiffeny enjoyed kayaking, gardening, being outside and raising her chickens and playing and spending time with her children,” the family stated in an online obituary.

God’s Gift to Us was Tiffeny Nichole Jones, who was 36 years old at the time and was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 7, 1986. On Sunday, April 9, 2023, Tiffeny was our offering to God as a Gift. Tiffeny spent her childhood in Streetsboro, where she attended and graduated from Streetsboro High School in 2005. For the past seven years, she has called Rootstown her home. She most recently worked as an assistant manager at University Edge in Kent, and prior to that, she was in a comparable role at Lakeside Terrace in Streetsboro. Tiffeny delighted in activities such as paddling, gardening, being outside, tending to her hens, as well as playing with her children and spending time with them.
She had a personality that was very outgoing and witty, and she enjoyed making other people laugh by speaking with a British accent. This will be how she is remembered. She tied the knot with Christopher Jones on July 24, 2010, and he, along with her children Bryce Allen and Adalynn Mae Jones, are all still living in the same house. Her mother Pamela Jackson (father Rick) and brother Michael Nelson, both of Streetsboro, as well as her sisters Britteny (Larry) Girdler Jr. of Garrettsville and Kayla Jackson of Cleveland, all made it through the tragedy unscathed. Christopher Jones and Rick Close, Christopher’s brothers-in-law Trey and Joshua Close, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and other adoring members of Christopher’s extended family. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory ceremony located at 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44 in Mantua, 44255. Her funeral ceremony will then be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
