Police in Toronto have identified a 46-year-old woman who was discovered dead in a rubbish bag
The woman found dismembered inside a rubbish bag on a Toronto sidewalk earlier this week has been recognized by the police. According to police, the remains of 46-year-old Tien Ly were discovered around 1:30 p.m. on Monday on the south side of Eastern Avenue at Berkshire Avenue, west of Leslie Street.
According to iheartradio.ca, The corpse of the Toronto woman displayed apparent injuries, according to detectives, and a post-mortem study found the woman’s death to be a homicide. Police said they are looking for the victim’s son, Dallas Ly, who has gone missing, in a police update on Wednesday.
“We are concerned for his well-being at this time,” Toronto police Const. Alex Li said Wednesday evening. “If Dallas is listening, please contact Toronto police as soon as possible. The 20-year-old has not been identified as a suspect, according to police.
Based on evidence gathered inside Dallas’ apartment on Carlaw Avenue, which he shared with his mother, police are concerned for his safety, according to Li.
