Who was Thomas Lally?
Thomas Lally was the kind of friend anyone would be lucky to have; no matter what was going on, he always tried to find a way to brighten people’s days with a grin and a joke. Thomas Lally has been a member of the American Poolplayers Association, the largest pool league in the world, with over 285 leagues in the United States, Canada, and Japan with almost 250,000 members since 2013. Thomas was described as a loving, and sarcastic person.
Joliet Catholic Academy is where Thomas Lally received his diploma. At the time of the report (December 2017), Thomas was employed as a carpenter for Jaguar Construction. Since March 18, 2019, Thomas Lally has been employed by Merit Contractors, LLC as a carpenter and general laborer. He also served in a13 Bravo Field Artillery in United States Army.
From February 1, 2020, until his untimely death, he was the sole proprietor of Thomas John Construction in Willowbrook, DuPage County, Illinois. Thomas Lally was easy to strike up a conversation with since he was a man full of life and vitality. A mourner wrote on Facebook “I didn’t know you long but the few conversations we had made it feel like I knew you my whole life”.
Thomas Lally was an optimistic young man who took life in stride and had an open mind. To define him in a single term would be an overstatement; he is, quite simply, a force to be reckoned with. His death came far too soon, and his wit and determination will be sorely missed. His passing will leave a huge void in the lives of his family and loved ones.
