Thibodaux Shooting Today – According to Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet, the Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Johnson Ridge neighborhood, Thibodaux, Louisiana on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023. Terrebonne Parish Patrol Deputies responded to reports of a shooting, where they discovered at least one person shot on scene. The condition of the victim is currently unknown. No arrests have been reportedly made by the responding officers. Terrebonne Parish Detectives are on the scene continuing the investigation.

In Thibodaux on the evening of May 22, 2023, a shooting rampage left nine individuals injured, prompting the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office to launch an investigation into the incident. At around 9:30 p.m., a shooting occurred at a party in the Marydale neighborhood located on the 300 block of Hyland Drive. According to the spokesperson for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, Captain Brennan Matherne, seven persons were injured as a result of the gunshots that occurred during the incident.

In the commotion that followed the incident, in addition to the individuals who were shot, two ladies also sustained injuries. According to the findings of the investigation, a total of seven people were injured by gunfire. According to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office on Monday morning, the ages of those who were murdered varied from 17 to 25 years old. As the throng attempted to flee the scene, two additional females, ages 21 and 22, sustained injuries.

Every single one of the nine injured people was taken to a hospital for treatment. The enormous gathering, according to the neighbors, was a graduation party. According to the sheriff’s office, there were no fatalities and nobody has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. Craig Webre, the sheriff of Lafourche Parish, has stated that detectives and deputies are currently gathering evidence to determine who is guilty of the shooting.
