The Hangout Gulf Shores Shooting Investigations – A teenager has been transported to an area hospital in critical condition following a shooting tonight at The Hangout Gulf Shores in Gulf Shores Alabama, Baldwin County. According to reports, multiple shots were fired at the famous restaurant during an event with mostly teenagers in attendance Monday night, March 27, 2023. The shooting happened at The Hangout Gulf Shores located in the area of 101 E Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores, AL.
A heavy police presence is currently at the scene of the incident. The identity of the victim involved has not to know released. All we know currently is that a female teenager was located suffering from at least two gunshot wounds at the restaurant. The Gulf Shores Police Department says a suspect has been taken into custody following the shooting incident this night at the busy venue. The arrested subject identified locally as the boyfriend of the victim was arrested after he shot and injured the victim. The report also states that the suspect assaulted the victim before shooting her – these claims have not been confirmed by the investigating PD.
Gulf Shores Police Chief Ed Delmore confirms one person was shot, and another person in custody following the incident that happened at approximately 9 p.m. Authorities say the scene is secure and there is no threat to the public. This is NOT an active shooter incident as the shooter has been taken into custody. This is a developing story.
