Tessa Pettigrew Death – Tessa Pettigrew, a devoted mother of five children: Tre, Josh, Mason, Anala, and Brielle, grandmother to her four grandkids, and wife to Nathan has passed away unexpectedly. Lake Highlands High School headteacher Tessa Pettigrew died on Friday, the 31st of March 2023 from what the school called a medical episode. She will be fondly remembered and missed tremendously by the entire LHHS school community.
Who was Tessa Pettigrew?
In 2008, Pettigrew became a teacher in the Richardson ISD. In 2021, she started working as an assistant principal at Lake Highlands. Pettigrew was a very cool guy. She was always happy and full of life. Kids liked Pettigrew because she was good for them. She was involved in everything fun that happened at Lake Highlands High School. She made it happen and would run it. Pettigrew was just a really fun woman who a lot of people thought everyone looked up to.
Tessa loved her family, her friends, and the kids she taught. Many people say that she is a shining example of good things and a ray of sunshine. She was happy to spend her whole life helping people and kids. As an assistant principal at a high school, Tessa touched the hearts of a lot of students and teachers every day, and her influence was felt all over the campus and in the community. Tessa was a great teacher who was kind, respectful, and skilled. She was a valued member of the LHHS Wildcat family.
The boys’ soccer team at Lake Highlands is trying to win its first state championship and give the school its second state title this year. Last month, five-star recruit Tre Johnson led the boys’ basketball team to the Class 6A title. Senior defender Charlie Willmann said that Pettigrew was a regular at Lake Highlands sporting events and had been to multiple playoff games. Now, the team wants to honor her by winning it all.
