Information about T. Roth and Another Pretty Face
The band first formed as a horn group performing at frat parties and other school events at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Everyone in the band was a student at Lafayette. As the founding members left, replacements from the surrounding areas were gradually brought in. When T. Roth joined the group, they immediately modified their sound. T. didn’t want to play weddings and frat parties with a “chicaho-ish” horn band, so they were replaced by a standard 5-piece rock band with no horns.
Rob Nevitte played guitar, Russ Cunningham played bass, Larry D’amelio played keyboards, and T. Roth provided the vocals. In 1974, the band recorded their debut album, 21st Century Rock, with producer Ed Stasium, but RCA ultimately decided not to release the album. In addition to fronting Zen For Primates, Terry Roth has sang under the alias Zipster on YouTube.
