Terry Mank Death – Terry Mank has died suddenly from unknown causes. He was confirmed dead on Friday, the 14th of April 2023. The news of his death has deeply saddened the hearts of many people who knew him and were closely related to him. He died leaving his friends, loved ones and family members. “I got word today from Dave Scher that Terry Mank has passed. Sitting there at work, I realized how influential a coach can be in a young person’s life. If it wasn’t for Mank I would not have become a teacher, because I wouldn’t have had the chance to become a coach and realize that a career in education was the path I wanted to be on.”
Who was Terry Mank?
Terry Mank was fondly known as Coach Mank. and aka ‘Mank-enstein’. Mank was the head coach for track and field at Pius XI. “His nasally voice rambling through a speech, slowly building to a crescendo where he was literally on his tip toes with spittle flying everywhere combined with his blunt assessment of our team’s performance always made team meetings in the 3rd floor hallway something we would never forget.” – Todd Hartwif said.
Mank was known as someone who hated losing. “He loved the kids who proved by their actions they were becoming men (either kicking butt or showing some backbone to him) – though he rarely showed it.” said Todd
