The shooting of a teen in New Castle County is being investigated by Delaware police.
Police in New Castle said they got a complaint of a shooting in the Sophia’s Place West neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
Officers discovered a 16-year-old teenager with gunshot wounds to his upper and lower extremities when they arrived.
A good Samaritan had been rendering aid before police arrived. The youngster was rushed to the hospital and his condition was described as stable.
Police are conducting an investigation and are requesting members of the public to contact them if they have any information.
