She was 28 years old at the time of her death. Taylor Brannin passed away in a deadly incident alongside her infant daughter and stepson in a car accident. What was Taylor Brannin’s cause of death?
The Pope County Sheriff’s Office, Pope County EMS, Pope County EMS Rescue, London Fire Department, and London ERTs were called to a single-vehicle crash with entrapment that happened close to the 75-mile marker eastbound on Interstate 40 at about 12:23 p.m. on Monday, June 19th, 2023. The 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling eastbound in the left lane of Interstate 40 around the 75-mile marker when the accident happened.
Immediately after the accident, the vehicle swerved from the left lane to the right lane, then off the right side of the road, according to the Arkansas State Police’s preliminary fatal crash report. Following a head-on collision with a tree, the car eventually came to rest after leaving the interstate’s shoulder. Taylor Brannin, the 28-year-old Russellville resident who was driving the Chevrolet Tahoe, and two young children who were also inside the car died as a result of their injuries.
Who was Taylor Brannin?
Taylor Brannin was a former resident of Hot Springs, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and a native of Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She went to Lake Hamilton Senior High class of 2013 and also studied at the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College. She studied Pre-Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at Henderson State University classes of 2017 and was also studying at the University of Arkansas, according to her social media profile.
Taylor was a loving daughter of Monica Scott and a caring sister to Tanner Scott. She was loved and cherished by her aunt Melissa Howard- Molnaird and her cousin Gracie Molnaird. She was a dedicated wife to Kyle Brannin from Dardanelle, Arkansas. Taylor worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Maurices from 2015 to 2017 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and also worked as a Community Education Culinary Instructor at the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College from 2020 to 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She worked as an Executive Sous Chef at Compassion International in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and also worked as a Caseworker Family Service Worker at the Arkansas Department of Human Services in Russellville, Arkansas. She was currently employed as an Executive Administrative Assistant at the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College.

According to a social media statement on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, by Taylor’s husband Kyle Brannin, on Saturday at 630pm at Cornwell funeral home in Dardanelle, Arkansas friends, and family will be gathering to say goodbye to his wife Taylor Brannin, and his children Jesse Brannin and Olivia Brannin. This will be a service and viewing. “We want to show them how loved they were so if anyone wants to come to say goodbye please feel free to do so. They were the light of my life and a lot of other people feel the same way I pray and hope to see everyone there.” He also wrote.
