Tate Makgoe Death – Free State MEC for Education Tate Makgoe has unexpectedly passed away. He died on Sunday 5th March 2023 after he was involved in a fatal car accident. According to the report, the accident happened on the N1 stretch near Winburg. Tate Makgoe Birth
Tate Makgoe was a prominent figure in South Africa. Tumahole, which can be found in the Parys region of the Free State province in South Africa, is the place where he was born on May 12th, 1963. As a delegate, he was given the opportunity to participate in the activities of the African National Congress. He has held the position of Member of the Executive Council for Education in the Free State since May of 2009. Makgoe became a member of the Free State Provincial Assembly by taking his oath of office in the month of May in the year 1994.
At the election that took place in 1994, Makgoe stood for a seat in the Free State Provincial Assembly as a candidate for the African National Congress. He was successful in his campaign and was elected to that seat. He was a very dedicated man that gave all his best to what ever he was assign to do and was loved by many.

During his tenure on the Executive Council, he has served in a number of capacities, including those of Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Finance twice (1994–1996; 2005–2009), Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Tourism and Environmental Affairs (1997–1999), Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Agriculture (1999–2001), and Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Public Safety, Security, and Liaison (1999–2001). In addition, he has served as (1999–2001). (2004–2005). Makgoe was the chair of chairs for the legislative body from 2001 till 2004.
The position of Member of the Executive Committee for Education was offered to Makgoe by the then-Premier Ace Magashule in May of 2009. He accepted the appointment. In May of 2014, Magashule made the decision to continue having him serve in his current capacity.
