Tanner Kaltenberg Death – The identities of the North Carolina Marine Corps found dead parking lot has been released. They were identified as 19-year-old Tanner J. Kaltenberg from Madison, Wisconsin, 23-year-old Merax C. Dockery from Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, and 23-year-old Ivan R. Garcia from Naples, Florida. They were pronounced dead by the United States Marine Corps after the attack. The family members of the victims have being informed about their death.
United States Marine Corps Death
The Marine Corps has released the names of the three Marine Lance corporals whose bodies were discovered over the weekend inside a vehicle at a petrol station in North Carolina. The Pender County Sheriff’s Office discovered the three unresponsive Marines on Sunday morning at a Speedway petrol station in Hampstead, which is located 29 miles southwest of where they were stationed at Camp Lejeune. The sheriff’s office was responding to a complaint about a missing individual when they made the discovery.
On Sunday, all three were confirmed dead, but the circumstances surrounding their passing have not been disclosed. Each individual served as a motor vehicle operator with the Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Combat Logistics Regiment 2 of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
Brig. Gen. Michael E. McWilliams, commanding general of 2nd Marine Logistics Group mentioned in an interview after the death of the Marine Corps was released that “My deepest sympathy and condolences are extended to the family, friends, and colleagues of Lance Cpl. Kaltenberg, Lance Cpl. Dockery and Lance Cpl. Garcia. Our focus is providing the necessary resources and support to those impacted by their tragic loss as they navigate this extremely difficult time.”
According to Ward, a determination of their cause of death may be made as soon as Wednesday. Condolences are been sent to the family members of Tanner J. Kaltenberg from Madison Wisconsin, Merax C. Dockery from Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, and Ivan R. Garcia from Naples after their death.
