We frequently hear tales of artists offering one another advice or words of wisdom that help one another through the music industry, and a few lines that Drake sang about T.I. seemed to be more than simply bars. In 2011, while Drake was getting ready to release Take Care, he decided to give his fans a gift in the form of a four-pack called Care Package. The project featured the song “Club Paradise,” which is a fan favorite and in which Drizzy reportedly mentions receiving assistance from T.I. While T.I. was walking down the red carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards, HipHopDX questioned him about the inclusion.

It has served him well, since he is regarded as a legend in the culture of rap, and we will see T.I.’s talents on full show at tonight’s BET Hip Hop Awards ceremony. T.I. spoke with HipHopDX on the red carpet of the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards exactly what he told Drake after going through similar circumstances as a young artist on the rise. The award show took place a week ago.

“Club Paradise,” which was produced by Noah “40” Shebib, came out in September 2011, just two months before Drake’s Take Care album. The song is titled after a Toronto strip club, and his 2012 tour has the same name. When Drizzy dropped his Care Package compilation in August 2019, the song became accessible via streaming services.

Prior to this, T.I. worked with Drake on the song “Poppin Bottles” from the No Mercy album from 2010, as well as on Chris Brown’s “Deuces” remix, which also included Kanye West, Rick Ross, André 3000, and Fabolous. Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. is grateful to God and everyone for all the things he has been able to achieve.
