Jensen Beach High School Lockdown Today – Today, there is a lockdown at Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach, Florida. On Friday, April 14th, 2023, a number of law enforcement agencies are responding to a situation at Jensen Beach High School. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says that the Jensen Beach High School at 2875 NW Goldenrod Rd, Jensen Beach, FL, has been locked down as a safety measure.
There is a large police presence at the Jensen Beach High School campus after the Martin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an unidentified suspect on campus. Parents and guardians are advised not to come to the school as responding officers are investigating the incident.

Following an update sent to parents and guardians, the lockdown at the Jensen Beach High School has been lifted following an extensive search by the officers with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. The person in question has been found and named correctly, authorities said. Staff and students are safe, and classes will go on as planned.

JBHS opened in August 2004 with an enrollment of 1100 students in grades 9 through 11. A senior class was added the following year. It was an open-choice school for several years but only accepted local students for some time. Starting in 2021 they made the change to become an open choice again.
