Steve Rickey Death – Steve Rickey from Kalamazoo, Michigan, who was 57 years old, passed away after being struck by a truck on Friday in Lawrence Township on Red Arrow Highway, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Rickey was riding his motorcycle westbound on Red Arrow Highway when he was struck by an incoming truck that was driven by a 46-year-old man from Covert who was dragging a trailer behind his truck and was traveling eastbound. The truck was attempting to make a left turn into a private driveway.
Steve Rickey was thrown off the motorcycle and suffered injuries that are considered to be life-threatening, according to the deputies. According to the sheriff’s office, he was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, but there he succumbed to his injuries and died. The findings of the investigation indicate that speed was not a contributing factor in the collision.

One man is in critical condition after being involved in a crash on Sunday in Kalamazoo County that involved a motorcycle and a minivan.
