Steve Mcallister Death – The daughter of Steve Mcallister has announced to the public that their father who is the owner of McAllister Greenhouses, Inc., a retail garden center situated in the Anderson County, has died. He passed away several weeks after sustaining severe injuries during car accident on Friday, August 25, 2023. After the accident that happened on that Friday evening, he was transported to CMC Main where he underwent an emergency operation.

Following the several injuries sustained during the crash, he had to undergo multiple surgeries. He was sedated and a breathing tube was inserted to help him breathe. They took him out of the sedation several times today for very short periods of time in order to check on his neurological health. He was able to move all of his fingers and toes and follow directions. At one point, he even shook his head yes or no in response to queries in an appropriate manner, but he was still sedated and placed on ventilator.
On August 31st, he underwent another bronchoscopy, greater sedation, and a change in the settings of his ventilator, he also had his chest tube inserted. After a night of rest, both his oxygen levels and his breathing improved. In the middle of all this, the family members were positive that McAllister Greenhouses, Inc. owner, Steve, will come out alive.
After that night, the doctor believed that a significant portion of this respiratory stuff is an inflammatory response to the operation on the femur, and he hopes that things could improve even further. The CT scan of his abdomen revealed that he had minor bleeding near his liver and spleen among some other things. Two days before he passed away, the doctors tried lung to prevent bleeding and the formation of clots within his lung, which necessitates the performance of repeated bronchoscopy procedures on a daily basis.
He was placed on Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ECMO, ventilator support, antibiotics and other medications. Sadly, he was unable to make it out alive and was pronounced dead despite all efforts made to revive him. The family members appreciates all efforts and prayers while Steve Mcallister was in the hospital.
