Stephen Martin Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – It is with great sadness that we inform you that Stephen Martin has unexpectedly passed away. Family and friends are in mourning after learning of the deceased’s death. The situation surrounding the deceased’s cause of death had not been revealed at the time of this publication.
According to The Linn County Fair‘s Facebook post online, “We lost one of our own yesterday. Long-standing Board of Director Stephen Martin left us doing what he loved – farming. Stephen has been part of the Linn County Fair Association since 1973. He was our longest-standing member and he was proud of that title! Stephen was a familiar face to many throughout the years at the fairgrounds and in the community.
You could usually find Stephen near the antique tractor display during the fair. He worked hard to get the 2 Cylinder Club to come to the fair and display the history, in the form of tractors, they were all so proud of. We were so glad to have this partnership built with the help of Stephen.
Stephen also loved a good conversation. He never knew a stranger and had a gift for connecting with others. Many of us laugh, as we knew when Stephen started talking it might be a while, because he always had a story to share! He loved the fairgrounds. It was another “home” for him.
He grew up showing livestock, then all his kids showed at the fair, and now his grandkids carry on the tradition. It is truly a family a “fair”. Stephen and his family sponsored the fireworks each year as he loved seeing their beauty light up the sky and seeing the smiles on kids and adults faces.”
