Stephanie Lynn Russell passed away suddenly on March 11, 2022. She was up surrounded by unconditional love and care from her parents Teddy Douglas Russell and Terri Lynn Russell.
Stephanie was a “pixie spreading magic and joy wherever she went”. Stephanie’s laughter was contagious, dancing across a room, lifting everyone’s emotions and making life more fun. Stephanie was a kindhearted person who loves children. She radiated affection with her calm, calming personality. Every kid she met loved her and felt a particular link with her, and no infant wept in her arms for long.
Inspire her mother’s style. She stayed out of the spotlight, working behind the scenes to create the right ambiance. Stephanie understood what you needed (a kind ear, a nice remark, or simply a napkin) before you did. You could almost excuse her for not appreciating her contribution in the moment. Her soul was so generous that she didn’t need praise. But, of course, she deserves it.
Her skills suited the hotel business well. Stephanie treated visitors like family at private occasions. She adored weddings and took great effort to ensure that her guests had an unforgettable experience. It’s a shame Stephanie missed out on this amazing day.
It is beyond unfair that she was denied a ceremony that she has so lovingly and devotedly provided to others previously. But that was Stephanie, she gave and forgave without expecting anything in return. She took care of her family and adored them. William Laird, the man with whom she was building out a future and attempting to make a family for herself, predeceased Stephanie and is left by her loving mother Terri, brother Ryan, sister Jessica, friends and relatives Stephanie is much missed.
Her family will have a private memorial service. Send condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
