Stabbing in Grand Junction; Shenting Guo 32 with second-degree murder: Tuesday night’s stabbing resulted in the arrest and charging of a 32-year-old woman with second-degree murder. A report of a male who was not answering calls prompted the Grand Junction Police Department to respond to a call at just before nine o’clock on Tuesday. The address is the Woodspring Suites, 659 Market Street. According to the Georgetown Police Department, the individual was declared deceased after being discovered at the site with what appeared to be a knife wound.
After being placed under arrest, Shenting Guo was taken to the Mesa County Detention Facility for booking. According to the arrest complaint, Guo told the police she was in a love relationship with the man. During their argument about whether or not he was the child’s father, she became certain that she was pregnant. According to the officials, Guo claimed that during their argument, she stabbed the man in the leg. The affidavit states that she acknowledged stabbing him because she was “so angry,” but she denied attempting to murder him.
The lady told the police, according to the affidavit, that she had also cut the man’s penis. Guo reported to the authorities that, according to the affidavit, the man appeared to be in no pain. She got beer, antibiotics, and rubbing alcohol from the adjacent City Market for this reason. She did not purchase bandages, though. The man informed Guo he was chilling and that he might die during the day, according to the document that she provided to the investigators.
It was reported that she gave the man propel water, ibuprofen, and “greens,” but that his eyes quickly became dull. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office holds the authority to disclose the deceased’s identify, cause of death, and manner of passing away. Guo is being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a cash bond of $1 million.
