Sircharles Marc Anthony Jones Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – On Friday, a guy was discovered shot to death near a South Portland motel. On Thursday afternoon, Portland police identified the gunshot victim as 22-year-old Sircharles Marc Anthony Jones. Jones died of homicide by gunshot wound, according to the Medical Examiner.
According to koin.com, Jones was discovered near the Marriott hotel on S River Parkway and Moody Avenue at 3 a.m. on Friday, May 6. Jones was already dead in a vehicle when authorities arrived on the scene. Evidence markers were scattered about the vehicle, according to a KOIN 6 News team on the site.
The area surrounding the shooting was closed off for the whole morning as authorities processed evidence such as shell casings and investigated two cars involved in the incident, one of which had been hit by bullets and had a cracked window. Police said no arrests had been made and no suspects had been identified as of Friday. Since then, no further information has been revealed.
