Sierra Loughrin Death – A young girl has died following a deadly car accident that happened yesterday. The victim has been identified as Sierra Loughrin of Paw Paw, Michigan. According to reports, Sierra Loughrin, a 2022 Paw Paw High School graduate passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile crash. The accident happened on Tuesday, the 13th of June 2023. No further information was mentioned. The details surrounding the accident were not stated.

“It is with great sadness that I share news of the sudden and unexpected death of a 2022 Paw Paw High School graduate. On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, Sierra Loughrin lost her life in an automobile accident. This type of news is shocking and heartbreaking, and we are saddened as a school community to learn of the loss of such a young, promising life. Our hearts and prayers are with Sierra’s family during this time of sorrow.”
On Thursday, June 15, counsellors will be on hand at Paw Paw High School between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to provide support to any staff members and current or former students who would like to stop in during that time. A fatal crash took place in Van Buren County on June 13, leading to the death of one person and the critical injury of another. This occurred as police were responding to a two-vehicle crash that happened earlier. Michigan State Police provided an initial update at 7:37 p.m. on Tuesday, reporting that they had reached the scene of the fatal crash near mile marker 56 in Paw Paw Township.
To facilitate the investigation into the incident, at least one lane on eastbound I-94 was closed. The left lane was blocked around 6:30 pm and all the eastbound lanes were blocked at 7 pm, according to Michigan Department of Transportation officials. By 7:10 p.m., the entire freeway was closed, and westbound I-94 near exit 56 was reopened around 7:25 p.m.
