UPDATE: According to San Antonio police, a man was shot and died while getting his hair cut on Sunday afternoon at North Star Mall. Two shooters approached the victim in the barbershop and shot him “in cold blood” shortly after 3 p.m., according to SAPD public relations officer Nick Soliz. The man, who was thought to be in his early 40s, was declared dead on the spot.
Soliz stated that they believe it was a targeted attack despite the fact that details are still scarce and the investigation is still ongoing. According to Soliz, there is no connection between this crime and the two other targeted shootings that took place recently throughout the city. Four individuals were sent to the hospital following a targeted drive-by shooting at an apartment complex in the 5100 block of Eisenhauer Road on Friday. A 5-year-old kid, a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy, and a 60-year-old mother were among the victims.
