Tragically, Shawn Mitchell, a 17-year-old, lost control of his vehicle while driving southbound on Hart Road at approximately 3 a.m. on Monday near Miller Road. The investigation reveals that Mitchell’s 2002 Honda Civic veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree. Sadly, Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, authorities are still investigating the factors that led to this devastating crash.

Mitchell had planned to return to Warren County Career Center as a senior, where he had been learning sports medicine. Prior to this, he attended Lebanon High School where he was actively involved in wrestling, track, and cross country. Mitchell thoroughly enjoyed fitness activities, and his recent aspiration was to become a powerlifter.
