His twin brother Brian posted about the tragic event on his official Facebook page. “Shawn Chrisagis my greatest blessing in my life and partner in ministry and life has passed. He was the most handsome, talented, and brilliant man or person I ever knew. I am nothing without him. He was my rock. Our dreams were together and my dreams are now finished. May the Lord receive him with open arms and say well done. I have no words but I love you Shawn M Chrisagis with all my heart. I hope to see you soon.”

The Yorkville, Ohio man died Tuesday afternoon, June 13, 2023, from health complications, claims alleged. The deadly incident has left the entire Chrisagis Brothers Ministry fans heartbroken. According to WTRF, the brothers organized celebrity concerts in the Ohio Valley, attracting such notable stars as Erik Estrada, Loni Anderson, and Catherine Bach. “Words are coming hard right now in expressing how deep my heart is grieving over the passing of my dear friend Shawn Chrisagis today. I know he is with the Lord he loved so much and sang about with all his heart. He and his brother Brian had just called last week to sing Happy Birthday to me. It was the last time I heard his voice and a funny little laugh.”

That’s exactly how it felt when I got word that Shawn Chrisagis passed this afternoon. He, along with his brother Brian, was two of the most colorful, hilarious, creative, caring, and genuine individuals you could ever meet. Shawn even told me once “The only thing that’s not genuine about me is my hair color. Thank God for black hair dye or I‘d be looking like Kenny Rogers.” My mother was probably one of they’re biggest supporters so I can only imagine the look on her face when Shawn stepped through the gates. I’d imagine their having a celebration grander than any concert or tv show those brothers ever produced. Rest now, man. I’ll see ya on the other side.
