On Thursday afternoon, February 24, at 3:56 p.m., a car accident occurred on a major street in Laguna Hills. According to Orange County officials, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 near La Paz Road. Several automobiles were heading northbound in the lanes when they crashed unexpectedly for unclear reasons, causing substantial damage to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics and fire crews were called to the scene right away to assist individuals in need. As a result of the collision, one or more individuals were injured. The unidentified injured people were transferred to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
For an extended period of time, the roadway in the accident area was closed but was later cleared by the Police.
